Scaling fees are designed to make services more affordable. If you’re facing financial challenges, we can adjust our fees to a level that is more manageable for you.

Many extended health benefits plans offer coverage for counselling services provided by a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). However, coverage can vary depending on the insurance provider and the specific plan. Here are some common insurers that may cover services with a CCC:
- Sun Life Financial: Coverage for CCC services is included in some plans.
- Manulife: CCC services are often covered, depending on the plan.
- Green Shield Canada: Many plans recognize CCCs, but it varies by employer or individual plan.
- Canada Life: Coverage for CCCs is plan-dependent; please check with your provider.
- Blue Cross: Various provincial Blue Cross plans may include CCCs in their mental health benefits.
Please note that we are unable to bill insurance providers directly. After each session, we’ll provide you with a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. To ensure coverage, it’s always best to confirm with your provider if CCC services are included in your plan. If coverage isn’t automatic, some insurers may add CCC services upon request

Our therapeutic approaches are tailored to meet your unique needs and goals. We combine evidence-based practices with a compassionate, individualized approach to help you navigate your challenges and foster personal growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helps clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, allowing them to improve their emotional responses and behaviours.
- Solution-Focused Therapy: A collaborative, goal-oriented process where you are recognized as the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths and resources to help you move forward, emphasizing where you are now and where you want to be, rather than dwelling on the past.
- Humanistic Approach: We meet you where you are, with acceptance and without judgment, honouring your unique experiences and perspectives.
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) encourages embracing your thoughts and feelings rather than fighting them while committing to actions that align with your values, fostering a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
- Mindfulness involves cultivating awareness of the present moment without judgment. By grounding yourself in the here and now, you can gain clarity, reduce stress, and respond to challenges with greater calm and resilience.
- Humour Therapy: In our sessions, we often incorporate humour therapy, recognizing the powerful role laughter plays in healing. Humour can lighten the mood, ease stress, and create a comfortable environment for exploring deeper issues. Laughter not only boosts our mood but also helps build resilience, improve perspective, and foster connection. By blending humour with traditional therapeutic methods, we create a balanced space for growth, reflection, and emotional well-being.
- Gottman Method: A research-based approach designed to support couples in building stronger relationships. Whether you want to reconnect, improve communication, or navigate challenges, this method offers practical tools to enhance intimacy, manage conflict, and deepen your bond.
